Award-winning Clovis Municipal Airport is located six miles east of city central on State Highway 523. The airport has three runways: two paved and one turf. Work has been completed on the extension of the main runway. The extension will allow for future growth and capability of regional jets that will open up other city destinations. An aggressive five year plan has been adopted to keep pace with the demands by the new mission at Cannon.
